• Length of tour approximately 5 hrs. Up to 4 people 
  • Suggested things to bring: Bathing suits, water shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, hats with a chin strap, food and drinks (no extra coolers) 
  • I supply the cooler, ice and water  

 

The boat we will be traveling in a 18 foot flats boat, designed to get into places where bigger boats can’t go! 

Tour options

Part of the day in the mangroves and you have some options for the rest of the day: 

  • Egmont Key:  Explore Fort Dade built in 1898 during the Spanish American war, to prevent the Spanish from entering Tampa Bay. Also tour the Egmont lighthouse, first built in 1848 then rebuilt in 1858 after damaged by a hurricane. Egmont beaches are a beautiful place for a picnic, shell picking and swimming. 
  • Passage Key: A small sand bar south of Egmont key. a great place for just lounging in the beautiful water. 
  • Dolphin Watch: Finding dolphins in their natural environment. A fun thing to watch. 
  • Shell Key: Another great place with beautiful beaches for picnics, swimming and shell picking.  

Pricing: $ 500.00 for the boat and captain (price is for the day not per person) 

  • A $100 deposit is required at the time of reservations and the remaining payment to be made by day of charter. A 48 hour cancellation policy is required for a refund of the deposit.  

 

At the captain’s discretion the charter may be cancelled due to weather etc. A full refund will be made.
